Cairndhu in ’30’s

This 1820 novel is a challenge and I will finish it in time. It’s not my style or genre, I suppose, and I’m going to let it stew for a while. I had laid out the sequel to the teacher, Miss Kirkhope’s struggles after her fiance died in WW1 and I’m going back to Cairndhu to get that done. It will take Peggy Kirkhope through the thirties. Of course, Miss Kirkhope plays a significant part in Best in Show, which is also set in the village of Cairndhu but in the fifties when she has retired from teaching. Time to have a bit of fun, I think, and let 1820 brew.
