Granny Clarke vs Phsyco

Maybe I should have told you more about Granny Clarke. Her house was beside the railway line in the days when trains used to whistle to warn the signalman they were coming. That wasn’t a problem until Granny Clarke told us stories about Banshees that whistled and then called your name just before you died. After that the trains started to whistle like Banshees in the middle of the night and of course when you woke, you felt you needed to go to the toilet but the toilet was outside, flushed but outside where the branches of trees cast weird shadows in the moonlight. After those experiences Phsyco was a bit of a joke. I must admit, like that fat man, Granny Clarke slips in and out of most of the Sullatober novels.
