King or Kaiser

I’ve sent fliers about King or Kaiser and Shadows in the Veldt to the Military History people. The books are fiction but they are based on actual incidents; docudrama, if you like. They are the start of the Cape Corps series and will go on to deal with WW1 in German South West Africa, Namibia, the early debacles in Tanzania and Kenya and how Jannie Smuts saved the situation there. In East Africa more died from fever than were killed in battle and the number of local bearers who died carrying their loads, or were eaten by lions, is unknown.
