Return to Oakhaven or maybe The Colonel’s Dream, something like that is about half way in draft at least. What I like to do is draft a few pages, maybe a thousand or two thousand words , let them rest overnight and go over them in the morning. By that time I’ve often made improvements or added in bits of information I’d missed. What I enjoy most is when one of the characters tells me what to write.
