Family Favourite
I’ve always felt it was appropriate that young Timmy Dalton played James Bond. You see, as well as having a scientist, John, a chancellor, Hugh, a rugby player and a yachtsman in the family, I found, in a book called Secret Service, mention of one of the Daltons having been a spy around the time of WW 1. His main claim to fame is that he defrauded MI5, or whatever they were called, of several thousand pounds. I don’t want you to think I have any sympathy with con men who pray on vulnerable people but this chap conned money from an organisation whose business was to deceive people!
