Writing commercially

Writing for an Audience, Commercial novels, Writers who want to make a profit are urged to write for an audience. I wrote Welcome to Oakhaven for my wife and I’m glad to say she enjoyed it. I should really concentrate on village life but sometimes it’s good to be challenged, for example when the Writer’s Group homework is poetry. I can recognise a story idea but Poetry comes from the soul and needs a great deal of meditation and when I meditate I start to think about wrong decisions I’ve made and there have been so many of those guys, instead of becoming inspired, I get depressed. Still, one does one’s best!
