Coming soon from Oakhaven

Vital Spark is published and novel number six is with the publishers and coming soon. Number six is a kind of follow up from Welcome to Oakhaven but it’s not Miss Read or Maeve Binchy. Obviously it’s about people but the main character is Colonel Cunninghame’s submission to turn The Manor House into a place where soldiers returning from war zones can be with their families and re-establish relationships. Elaine will obviously help but it’s a worthwhile project and Mrs Boniface, the leader of the Oakhaven intellectual and literary group will be involved – as long as the soldiers are like Major Grant and not that scruffy Stompie individual. She also has to keep Farmer Braithwaite at arm’s length – he wants to take her on one of those hot air balloons, would you believe!
